Queens of the Nation Mardi Gras Indian Council mission is to sustain and pass on the cultural tradition of "Masking" Indian and provide support services and resources to the young, elderly and less fortunate.

Since 2010, Queens of the Nation has stood as a powerful collective of women within the Black Masking Indians of New Orleans aka Mardi Gras Indians; uplifting the legacy, artistry, and spiritual traditions of our ancestors while forging a path for future generations.

We are the keepers of culture.
We are the voices of sisterhood.
We are the Queens.

Today, we invite you to stand with us.
