NOLA Vox is a New Orleans-based a cappella ensemble and the New Orleans Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, dedicated to building connection through vocal harmony and a culture of continuous learning. Rooted in the city’s rich musical tradition, we bring together singers from all backgrounds to create, grow, and learn together.

Founded in 2023, NOLA Vox has quickly established itself as a vibrant and growing part of the New Orleans music community. In a short amount of time, the ensemble has built momentum through performances and the launch of educational initiatives that continue to expand our impact across the region.

Education is at the core of who we are. Every rehearsal is designed not just to prepare for performance, but to develop better singers, stronger musicians, and more confident individuals. Through regular coaching, collaborative learning, and a shared commitment to improvement, our members are constantly building their skills and deepening their understanding of vocal harmony.

NOLA Vox is a home for people who love to sing, welcoming individuals of all experience levels. Whether you are new to singing or a seasoned performer, there is a place for you here. Our singers don’t just perform together, they support one another, challenge one another, and grow together.

We create space for a wide range of voices to come together, blending different experiences, styles, and perspectives into a unified sound.

Beyond our ensemble, we extend this culture of education into the community. Through outreach, partnerships with music educators, and initiatives like the New Orleans Youth Harmony Festival, we are creating meaningful opportunities for singers of all ages to experience high-quality vocal music education.
