The GIVEGAMER Campaign by IGL Foundation was created to close that gap.

At its core, GIVEGAMER is more than a fundraising effort. It is a movement...one that recognizes that gaming is no longer just entertainment. It is a gateway to careers in technology, design, artificial intelligence, business, media, and innovation. It is where creativity meets strategy, and where passion can become profession.

But for many in our communities, especially in underserved areas across New Orleans, that gateway remains closed.

Not because of lack of talent.
Not because of lack of ambition.
But because of lack of access.

Every day, we encounter students who are naturally gifted in areas that align with high-growth industries:

• Gamers who understand strategy, systems, and competition
• Creators who are editing videos on their phones with no formal training
• Young entrepreneurs selling products without understanding business structure

But they are missing:

Musicpreneur Academy--Where creativity becomes commerce. Students learn branding, contracts, intellectual property, marketing, and revenue generation in the music and digital content industries.

Skill Up! Program--A hands-on introduction to esports, coding, production, and workforce readiness — connecting gaming skills to real job opportunities.

AI for All Y’all--A transformative program bridging the digital divide across generations. Youth, professionals, teachers, and seniors learn how to use artificial intelligence for productivity, business, education, and daily life.

Esports & Digital Media Training--From competitive gaming to streaming, shoutcasting, and event production — students gain skills in one of the fastest-growing global industries.

Why Most Programs Are Free

This is where IGL Foundation stands apart--we do not believe that access to opportunity should be determined by income. Many of our participants come from households where:

• Technology is limited or shared
• Paid programs are not an option
• Exposure to career pathways is minimal

So we remove the barrier.

Most IGL Foundation programs are offered free or at low cost—because the need is too great to do otherwise. But that decision comes with a cost.
