Early giving has already begun, and we have just 8 days to make this a record-breaking year for A Tail In Need Animal Rescue. Every donation helps not only the kitties currently in our care, but also the many more we will rescue in the months ahead. The more we raise, the more lives we can save.

Just recently, we took in a tiny kitten who was found alone, sick, and struggling to survive. With proper medical care, nourishment, and a safe place to rest, that kitten is now healthy and thriving in a loving home. This is exactly what your donation makes possible.

At A Tail In Need, we provide temporary shelter, medical care, and love to cats in need while working to place them in forever homes. Donations directly support essential care such as spay/neuter, vaccinations, de-worming, disease testing, and micro-chipping.

Every dollar truly makes a difference:
• $25 helps vaccinate a kitten
• $50 provides testing for infectious diseases
• $100 helps cover a spay/neuter surgery
• $250 helps fully prepare a cat for adoption

In addition, we provide lifelong care for over 30 feral and semi-feral cats who have not been able to find homes, ensuring they are safe, fed, and loved.

We are a family-owned, nonprofit rescue dedicated to improving the lives of cats in our community. Since our founding in 2019, we’ve helped over 4,000 cats find loving homes. We also partner with Jefferson Parish trappers to spay and neuter community cats, helping reduce overpopulation and suffering.
